Invisalign® is the virtually invisible orthodontic treatment that discreetly straightens teeth.
When you have crowded, wide-spaced or misaligned teeth, it can make you self conscious about your smile and can also be difficult to clean effectively. Wire and bracket braces may not be your first choice of treatment as they are more visible.
As effective as traditional braces, Invisalign® clear aligners are a discreet treatment for a great smile.
A series of custom-made, clear aligners are worn for 22 hours per day, gently acting on to move the teeth. You change your aligned every 1-2 weeks, and the movements are controlled throughout the process.
Invisalign® aligners are easily removable for eating, drinking and brushing your teeth. This orthodontic treatment is an almost invisible way to promote a harmonious transformation of your smile.
Consultation – Your dentist will advise you if the Invisalign® teeth straightening treatment is right for you. From a 3D image of your mouth, you wil be able to see a simulation of your teeth straightening treatment and the potential end result. Once you are happy with the treatment outcome your aligners can be ordered.
Treatment – You will receive a series of Invisalign® aligners that fit over your teeth. During your aligners treatment it may be necessary for your dentist to polish in between your teeth to create space if there is crowding, and add discrete attachments to aid tooth movement. These are very subtle, your teeth will gradually move into the desired position. Treatment cost includes all your scheduled appointments and aftercare.
As dental treatments are as unique as your teeth and mouth, there is no standard treatment length.
We will review progress every 4 to 6 weeks for a period between 12 to 18 months, depending on your teeth.
